Utility Locator

About you
Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role will be:
- – Undertake utility location activities, with locating equipment including using standard pipe and cable locating equipment and ground penetrating radar (GPR)
- – Interpret ground penetrating radar data
- – Supporting utility survey teams and project teams as required to ensure project outcomes are met
To be successful in this role you will have:
- – Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- – Previous experience undertaking Utility Surveys using GPR (ground penetrating radar) systems, EMF (electromagnetic frequency) detectors and survey equipment
- – Valid driver’s licence
- – Construction Induction Card
- – Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate initiative

- – Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) Certified Locator
- – Confined Space Entry Certified Training
- – Gas Test Atmospheres Certified Training
- – Rail Industry Worker Accreditation
- – Traffic Management Certified Training
- – Industry qualifications in utility locating: NULCA Accredited Certification
